Hello Darlene and Lucas,

We now have the "Nine Central Fire Alarm Letter" acknowledged by Universal,

as well as the fact that this situation has existed since at least 2015.

Lucas, last year you told me that I could submit the fire alarm letter,

at any point during the coverage period, and receive a total refund.

And now, Darlene, you are telling me the calculation is *pro rata*.

I am sorry, but I disagree.

I have the message from Lucas regarding this.

As for the new insurance, I would prefer to have the new coverage and new quote with the fire alarm letter already included.

I do not understand why I would need to pay for insurance without the fire alarm letter

only to receive a refund for it later; that makes no sense.

Please recalculate my insurance renewal quote and send it to me, now with the Nine Letter.

Good morning, I uploaded the new fire alarm certificate to Universal Property & Casualty Insurance for

The additional credit.

Universal P&C Insurance said policy renewal 9/01/2026 would need to be paid before the credit is added, if policy is paid

In full , Universal will send a refund for the discount.

Any credit to the policy 9/01/25 to9/01/26 would be up to the underwriting guidelines as alarm certificate was

uploaded 8/28/2026.
