Not just what they want to hear, but what they actually need and whe= n they are ready to receive it. My toddler mid-meltdown does not want a sol= ution; she wants to feel understood. A reporter on deadline does not just w= ant a pitch; they want a story that answers their question and that holds u= p. In both worlds, reading the room is everything. Patience is another shar= ed discipline. The strongest media coverage we earn comes from relationship= s built over time through trust, a check-in here, ongoing engagement, and t= he continuous provision of concepts until one finally clicks. Parenting wor= ks exactly the same way. Repeating values, what feels like a thousand times= and then suddenly they show up in moments that stop you in your tracks. An= d then there is consistency. Showing up, even when results are not immediat= e, that is what builds trust. In PR, that means following through on every = promise to a reporter, every deadline, every detail.
